Covid-19 update

First Base and the Edward Street Quarter team take the coronavirus threat very seriously and would like to offer our support to the local community during this difficult time.

Following Government advice, we have taken the tough decision to postpone all community events including next week’s public meeting due to take place on Tuesday 24th March.

We understand that you will still have questions and we will be available to answer them all. Your Community Liaison Officer, Gitana Harfleet, will be on emails to answer any queries you may have.

Gitana is currently in isolation for 14 days, and working from home as a precaution, but will be available after this to support those in vulnerable positions.

We are in an unprecedented and rapidly changing situation and we will therefore do our upmost to keep everyone informed of the construction schedule. As it stands, construction work is set to continue. If this changes, we will let you know.
