Edward Street Quarter is excited to officially welcome PowerWatts Brighton to the Neptune Building. This move marks a significant milestone for our development, as we continue to build a vibrant, multi-purpose neighbourhood where lifestyle, wellness and community come together.More than just a gym, PowerWatts has quickly established itself as the beating heart of Brighton’s riding community, offering everything a cyclist - from beginner to pro - could possibly need, under one roof. Spread across two spacious floors, the new PowerWatts studio is a performance-led hub designed for riders who care about progress.
PowerWatts Brighton offers a new standard for indoor cycling:
-
A 16-Bike Performance Studio: Equipped with fully geared, real-feel adjustable bikes that mimic the experience of the open road.
-
The Hub Café: A dedicated space for riders to refuel with high-quality coffee or catch up on work in a cycling-centric environment.
-
Expert Services: The Neptune Building site now houses a dedicated bike-fitting room, a physiotherapy suite and an in-house mechanic, ensuring that both the rider and the bike are in peak condition.
-
Inclusive Training: From high-intensity 45-minute sessions to 90-minute endurance rides, the coaching is tailored to all levels.
At Edward Street Quarter, our vision has always been to create spaces where residents, office workers and visitors can connect. PowerWatts embodies this spirit perfectly. Their move has turned the Neptune Building into a social landmark, where the Brighton Tri Club and local cycling enthusiasts gather before dawn and well into the evening.
“The aim is simple: build community,” says Steve Byrne. Whether it’s through the new women-focused sessions led by coach Amy Smith or the post-ride chats in the café, PowerWatts is fostering a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the saddle.
Located on the site of the former Amex House, Edward Street Quarter was designed with wellbeing at its core. With Grade A office spaces, 168 homes and public green spaces, PowerWatts reinforces our commitment to making Edward Street Quarter a destination for leisure and lifestyle.
Ready to ride? Head to the Neptune Building and talk to the PowerWatts team, book an introductory class, or simply enjoy a coffee at The Hub. We look forward to welcoming you to the neighbourhood.
