168 flats available in Brighton at Edward Street Quarter development
168 new build apartments have been made available to buy or rent off-plan.
The development will offer a mix one, two and three-bedroom flats offering a mix of tenures from private sale, build to rent and affordable housing.
Oakley Property and Currell (now part of the Savills Group) have been appointed as residential agents for the development, bringing their expertise in the Sussex and London markets, respectively, on board.
Chris Oakley, Executive Chairman of Oakley Property, said:
“The development will help meet the demands of modern life, including parcel management services to make online shopping easier, areas for home workers, cycle facilities and storage units.”
The most exciting residential development to happen in Brighton for many years, Edward Street Quarter will offer residents access to the city’s cultural quarter, stunning seaside, buzzing Kemptown area and proximity to the central train station.
Anne Currell, director, Currell, part of the Savills group, commented:
“We’re anticipating high demand from a range of different buyers, all seeking a sense of community and access to the city centre, including upwardly mobile professionals looking to situate themselves in a thriving business district, young families growing into their next apartment, active retirees looking to downsize and London commuters attracted to the seaside lifestyle.”
Steve Eccles, Project Director at First Base, commented:
“We are delighted to bring Oakley Property and Savills onto the Edward Street Quarter team, as they share our enthusiasm for creating an exceptional and accessible new community for the city.”
